The basic group obedience class is open to dogs at least 16 weeks old. All the basic dog commands you need are covered: sit, focus, down, stay, come, let's go, leave it and loose leash walking. Dog training classes are an hour once a week for seven weeks and include a training manual and free lifetime email and phone support. The first class is humans-only and the following six weeks are used to train your dog. At the first class, you will need to show proof your dog has received vaccinations for rabies, distemper, and bordetella or your dog will not be allowed to attend the course. Between training classes, there is homework to help cement the lesson in your dog and let you practice the reward based techniques used during lessons.
